Video editing in Telegram: a bot that edits your videos
Telegram is no longer just a messenger: full-fledged apps run inside it. VARIA is one of them: you upload a video to the bot, it’s edited on our server, and the finished video comes back to the chat. Here’s how it works and why it’s more convenient than a separate app.
- The @reelsuniq_bot bot and an app inside Telegram
- Works on iPhone, Android, desktop and Telegram Web
- No sign-up — log in with your Telegram
- Editing runs on the server — your phone doesn’t heat up or drain
- An editor with a timeline — also inside Telegram
Why editing in Telegram is convenient
- Nothing to install. No need to search the app store, free up space on your phone or get used to a new interface. The bot opens from Telegram search.
- Works on any device. Filmed on an iPhone — edit on it too; on a computer in Telegram Desktop the interface is the same.
- The heavy lifting happens on the server. Speech recognition and video rendering don’t run on your phone: it doesn’t heat up, and you can close the app.
- The result is where you already are. The finished video arrives as a message in the chat: save it to your gallery, forward it to a client or colleague — one tap.
How to start
- Search Telegram for the bot @reelsuniq_bot or open the link on this page.
- Tap “Start”, then “Open VARIA” — the app will open.
- In the “Auto-edit” tab, choose a video and a style. The finished video will arrive in the same chat.
What’s inside the app
Auto-edit
Automatic editing of a talking video: pauses, “um”s, repeats, captions, title, graphics, B-roll, music. Three presets and detailed settings. Details on the page video auto-editing.
Editor
The finished video opens in an editor with a timeline: you can split it, delete a clip (captions and text overlays shift along with the video), change the text, font, color, add sound. The editor is built for phones — the tracks fit on screen, and clips can be grabbed with a finger.
Videos
Edit history for 30 days: watch, download, change and rebuild. Unfinished edits are visible too — you can come back to them.
Hooks & captions
A generator of hook titles and post captions for your video: the neural network listens to the speech and suggests options in the first person, with a call to action and hashtags if you need them.
Repost
New versions of an already posted video for reposting: different framing, speed, color and sound. More in the article Reels reposts.
How to post the finished video to Instagram, TikTok or Shorts
- Open the message with the video in the bot chat and save the video to your gallery (on iPhone — “Save to Photos”, on Android — “Save to gallery”).
- In the platform’s app, choose the video from your gallery. Captions and title are already burned in — no need to add text.
- You can take the post caption from the “Hooks & captions” tab: it suggests options based on what the video is about.
The video is rendered at 1080×1920 — the standard for vertical video on all platforms, so nothing needs cropping.
Telegram limits worth knowing
- Telegram lets files up to 20 MB into a chat with a bot. That’s why videos for auto-editing are uploaded through the app — up to 700 MB, in chunks, resuming after a dropped connection.
- If the app closed during upload, it will offer to continue from the same point the next time you open it.
- Finished videos larger than 49 MB arrive as a download link, not a file.
Security and your files
You log in via Telegram, no passwords needed. Payments go through Robokassa — we don’t see or store your card details. Edited videos and source files are kept for 30 days so you can tweak them, then deleted. We only process your own content: before the first processing you confirm you have the rights to the video.
Pricing
Auto-edit is paid in packs: 5 edits — $7.05; 10 edits — $13.03; 25 edits — $29.77; 50 edits — $53.69. One edit is one finished video from a clip up to 3 minutes. Your first video can be a trial — with a watermark. Reposts are separate, from $5.98 for 30 reposts; 2 reposts free to start. Packs never expire.
